As a teenager, my friends and I used to steal our fathers' beer, drive to a deserted road and enjoy them around a fire. (It was obviously a very different time.) I used to think about how cool it would be to work advertising beer. I got the chance. When I worked on Dundee Ales & Lagers, the craft beer movement was much younger and many people didn't really understand how it was different from Budweiser. I created a campaign to show that these beers were different, and meant to be appreciated one at a time for their differences. Just like the people who drink them. The web content for Dundee Porter remains my favorite piece of copy I wrote in my career.
